Lokomotiv head coach Mikhail Galaktionov has shared his thoughts on his team’s midfielder Alexey Batrakov.
“Is there a feeling that Batrakov is afraid to play against underdogs?”
“No. Every opponent prepares. The championship is intense right now. Even teams at the bottom analyze their opponents. When he is tightly and roughly marked, the wow effect might disappear. We are used to him playing either very well or superbly. Right now, he is still playing very well. Let’s hope that the super performance will come in the next match,” Galaktionov said, as quoted by Championat correspondent Vladimir Chetverik.
This season, Batrakov has played 35 matches for the club across all competitions, scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assists.
