Former Formula One driver turned analyst Ralf Schumacher has shared his views on the current situation at Mercedes. According to the German, the team’s dynamics are a perfect scenario for Toto Wolff.
“The situation at the team is ideal for Toto Wolff because now he has a number one driver who can challenge for the championship. Meanwhile, Russell can focus on scoring points. That’s how things stand right now. Moving forward, the team will increasingly listen to Antonelli’s input. And of course, Kimi exerts significant influence on all processes through his race engineer. It will be interesting to see if Russell can regain his composure. I think he’s going to have a tough time,” Schumacher told Sky Sport Germany.
